Hamaguchi Goryo’s birthplace was developed as a hall to spread his feats and spirit widely.
It was opened in “Inamura-no-Hi no Yakata Museum” together with “Tsunami Education Center” where to learn about tsunami disaster prevention in 2007. In the exhibition room tracing the footprint of Goryo from his birth to his later year, episodes that make people know his personality, as well as his numerous achievements. The earthen-floor theater where people can know Goryo’s life through the image is also popular. In addition, people can see the tea room which Goryo used and also the beautiful Japanese garden loved by Goryo.
