In honor of the accomplishment of Hamaguchi Goryo, it is a statue erected in the schoolyard of Hirogawa Town Taikyu junior high school in 1967. The bronze statue of Hamaguchi Goryo was erected in front of the former Wakayama Prefectural Council building in 1920 which is 100 years of his birth, they were forced to allocate the materials for the war. People who regretted it set up a “Committee for construction of the bronze statue of Hamaguchi Goryo” chaired by the mayor of Hirogawa at the time, and reconstructed it with the donation from the townspeople. If you apply at the Inamura-no-Hi no Yakata Museum, you can watch it together with the Hiromura seawall and Taikyu-sha with the guidance of a storyteller.
